As we have done so before and will continue to do so in the future, Conservative FIRST PAC will admit when we were wrong, and in 2022, we were very wrong. Unfortunately, though certainly not the only ones, we endorsed Mehmet Oz in the general election race for the United States Senate race in Pennsylvania versus the eventual winner, John Fetterman. We realized our mistake too late.

We should have come out early and endorsed Dave McCormick before the GOP primary. Regardless of who was endorsing Mr. Oz during the 2022 election cycle, Mr. McCormick was the stronger and, most important to us, the most conservative candidate in that race.

In 2024, we strongly endorse Dave McCormick in his bid to defeat incumbent Senator Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania in this very crucial senate seat that could decide the fate of the U.S. Senate or help pad the majority. Mr. McCormick is the right candidate in this election cycle to take on Sen. Casey who comes out every six years as a moderate but is a lock-step vote for the radical left and Sen. Chuck Schumer.

What Dave McCormick stands for is more important than what Sen. Bob Casey stands for or how he votes but we would like to highlight a few issues among many that the people of Pennsylvania should know as they head to the voting booths in the fall.

Sen. Casey claims to care about the sanctity of life, and yet he voted with the radical leftists in Congress on a bill that allows for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to provide taxpayer-funded abortions to retired service members, their spouses, and their dependents. As the Heritage Foundation points out, instead of money and resources going to veterans, the VA will direct federal tax dollars to pay for abortions.

Another issue we must highlight concerning Senator Bob Casey Jr. is immigration. In years past running as a “moderate”, he campaigns as a tough on illegal immigration advocate. Every six years when it becomes obvious he is in a dogfight to save his political career, he will tout the need for stricter border policies and yet his record will show just the opposite. He supports amnesty for illegals and opposes detecting drugs at the border.

Don’t be fooled with this political chameleon. He is a puppet for Sens. Schumer, Durbin, and Warren.

The man who will not be a puppet for the new moderate Republican leader in the U.S. Senate is Dave McCormick. If we are flip the U.S. Senate, it is crucial to elect Mr. McCormick and send Sen. Casey packing.

Mr. McCormick is a constitutional conservative we need right now. His top two issues on his website are “Inflation and the Economy” and “Immigration.” Are there two more important issues that are crucial to our republic than these two?

Families are struggling to pay for groceries and gasoline. President Biden and Sen. Bob Casey created this mess. States and cities, not just near the border, are struggling with the millions of illegal aliens pouring over our borders, all by design by the way. Dave McCormick will help fix these messes and much more like out of control crime, energy independence, and education.

The United States Senate will have new leadership regardless of who wins this senate seat in the Keystone State. The GOP will have a new leader, either as a majority or in the minority. We feel confident that Dave McCormick will be a strong conservative to fight the radical left and take on his own party when they stray from first principles.

We wish we were checking in on Mr. McCormick as senator having been elected in 2022. We were wrong that election but we couldn’t be more right about 2024.

This race is crucial to stop the slide towards Marxism.
